Schwab offers an array of services like annuities, mutual funds, bond trading, discount brokerage, mortgages, etc. Schwab has a huge clientele of more than seven and half million institutions and individuals. It has more than three hundred offices in the United States. Schwab also has holdings in CyberTrader, which is a direct access broker, and U.S. Trust to provide asset management.
Schwab provides expert guidance through its many experts on the panel. Schwab places great emphasis on needs of the investor and offer unbiased opinions for your gain. They offer useful research manuals on their web site and you can easily navigate through their web site with the help of the many tools. Customer service at Schwab is excellent and polite. The staff is helpful and responsible. They handle trades efficiently without any mistakes.
No doubt, Schwab is an expensive brokerage firm but these charges more than make up for their superb professional service. You can never lose a pie due to any slow dealings at Schwab. You receive free trading for the first thirty days.
If at any time Schwab’s web site is down, you can access them through telephone and conduct your trades. Every trade at Schwab has a paper record backup and you receive these at your home address. You need not worry about any computer crash as these paper records are proof of your transactions. Although Schwab is not a cheap brokerage firm, yet its excellent service far outruns all costs.
Schwab of has its counterpart in Schwab Europe, which is essentially an affiliate. They also offer recent updates and quotes, low commission rates, and free news service.
