ProgramCritique.com Review:

Bill “Tycoon” Greene is a real estate guru of the seventies. Although Bill had some good ideas, number of bad ideas outscores his good ones and therefore, it is best to stay away from Bill and his books. A vivid example is that Bill backed out of a real estate deal despite a clean termite report. Instead, he insists on his clients acquiring termite houses. Two of his books- Two Years for Freedom and Think Like a Tycoon made great waves during the seventies. He appeared regularly on Dinah Shore Show.

Things were not right for Bill "Tycoon" Greene. On 1/13/81, Bill had many convictions of federal tax evasions against him. This led to his arrest and he was at minimum-security prison. He also paid fine. During August 1981, he escaped. Some say he disappeared from halfway house while some others say he escaped while visiting a sick relative. Whatever may be the case, he is now in under the name of Dr. William G. Hill. All books of Dr. William G. Hill are same as that of Bill “Tycoon” Greene. Hence, most agree that William and Bill is the same person. However, it is not possible to locate Bill or William in as he lives in some undisclosed place. Book publishers say that Bill gets in touch with them and they have no clues to his whereabouts or telephone number.

One of Bill’s books - Think like a Bill "Tycoon" Greene is a philosophical book. It contains 253 pages and has many cartoon characters of workers going to work with carrots on their head. Bill offers absurd solutions as making an offer to every house in any particular locality. You then need to finalize deal by talking to realtors and mortgage brokers. He says that making so many offers makes you an expert in real estate dealings.

Bill’s books and information are slightly outdated, although the book overall is systematically written, easily comprehensible and is comprehensive. It offers through research into identifying properties, negotiating, and building up relationships with banks and financiers. He forewarns about government regulations and discloses some of his Libertarian Philosophy.
