Joe Dominguez was born in Spanish Harlem on February 2, 1938. Although he was an engineer from New York’s City College, he worked as a financial analyst at Wall’s Street for a decade. Joe retired early in life at the age of thirty and later spent his whole life teaching people different aspects of finance, how to attain total financial independence by changing your viewpoint about earning and spending money.

Although Joe retired early, he had an easy life. Joe never propagated any get-rich quick scheme; instead, he made you realize your need for money. Joe conducted an excellent seminar- Transforming Your Relationship With Money, which is a reflection of his whole life. In this seminar, Joe discusses why you need money and how you can be happy by establishing a relationship between money and your life energy resource. Your understanding and realization about money and other basic ideals changes your total outlook, you stop buying, and using things you really do not need, instead focus, spend, and contribute towards various other constructive goals in life. 

Joe is successful in redefining money and takes you through nine simple steps of tracking, evaluating, and directing flow of money. At same time, you need not find any middle path between your aspirations and your principles in life. Joe could establish and provide clues to realizing your peace of mind and experience many more pleasures of life like undulated love, excellent health, and happiness. It is impossible to buy any of these even with millions and billions of dollars.

Joe Dominguez was a philanthropist and made regular contributions to numerous charities. Joe successfully co-authored a book with Vicki Robin- Your Money Or Your Life. Book has many guidelines to streamline your savings and lower debts, learn new skills of converting problems into opportunities, etc. Vicki Robin was an honors graduate from Brown University and had a surging career in film and theater in New York. She realized value of Joe’s new concept of money and its utility and applied it in her own life. She quit her career and joined hands with Joe. Together they founded a humanitarian nonprofit organization- New Road Map Foundation.

Joe Dominguez died on January 11, 1997.
