Robert A. Blair is the President of Blair Law Firm and Home Buyers of America Inc. He is also a trustee under Winkler Trusts and managing partner of many real estate partnerships and firms. Between 1995 and 1999, he was equity partner at Manatt in a law firm-Phelps & Phillips. He was also the Chairman of the National Advisory Board of IPG Photonics. The company makes laser equipment for military and commercial use like fiber amplifications, high performance fiber lasers, Raman lasers for research, communication and commercial purposes. Robert has purchased and sold numerous properties.

Home Buyers of America (HBA) is a partnership company of Bobby Blair and First Resource, Inc., which is a subsidiary of Fortune Financial Systems. It offers many real estate programs. In some promotional programs of Kentucky, Blair offers to provide initial capital necessary to start your real estate business of distress sale and purchase if you are able to identify and locate such properties.

Such claims have led Robert Blair’s company into rough weather. The Kentucky attorney general's office accuses his company of making false claims of excessive earnings, giving false information at sales presentations, and failure to register the company with the state. Besides, Blair Company is also floating certain tapes, which has many testimonials of many real estate agents having made lot of money by using Blair’s products.

Robert Blair denies all such allegations and says that real estate agents in info commercials do not state having attended his seminar and made money through his real estate techniques. However, there are many dissatisfied and unhappy customers claiming they do not have their refunds. Department of Justice, Federal trade commission has given warnings to Robert A. Blair and his company to refrain from conducting business in Connecticut as he was dealing in unregistered business opportunities.
