However, watch out when paying out from your Credit card for gas, or a restaurant bill, or passing your credit card information on the phone because any leakage of this critical information to any unscrupulous person and you may have a hefty credit card bill in your mailbox. Actually, using your credit card on a secured payment gateway is one of the safest means, which ensures privacy of the transaction.

There can be cases wherein you receive a phone call promising you a cheaper loan, or a heavy discount over a purchase, asking you the credit card information. Just do not entertain any such requests. Be sure to whom you are sharing information or giving your credit card.
