Jim Mackrell is an expert in direct marketing. He marketed products through info commercials. His system of marketing and his products was very similar to Brad Richdale. It seemed to be just the same as what Brad used to sell before he went off the air. The resemblance was so startlingly that it almost felt like Jim’ products are Brad’s spin off. Jim’s selling strategy was similar to most TV marketers. His product on TV led to the sale of another expensive product. However, his up-sell was not any business service, instead he was marketing software. He sold his software as either just $500 for software alone or $1500 if it is preloaded on your computer. The price was a bit too exorbitant. You can get similar software, which would do almost three quarters of what Jim’ software did for just $50 to $100. Jim probably thought that most people do not look up such things on the Internet.

Jim has been marketing his products on the radio, television, and in many seminars nationwide. He has been into broadcasting for a long time including his stints on local and network commercials and as a host for special programs with celebrities and other popular series. Jim was the star attraction of the hit NBC game show Celebrity Sweepstakes and hosted Quiz Kids (Columbia Pictures TV), The Game (CBS), and many others. He was also into television serials, movies, and theater. He had important roles in many films like Semi-Tough, Woody Allen’s Annie Hall, Harry’s War, and Albert Brooks’ Defending Your Life, Teen Wolf with Michael J. Fox, and Gremlins. His guest roles in television serials include Soap, Golden Girls, Dallas, Moonlighting, Reason to Live, Miracle in Caulfield, Walk don’t Run, Capitol, General Hospital, and Days of our Lives.
