Norman Vincent Peale was an expert of the self-help type books. He has authored 46 books, which include "The Power of Positive Thinking". This book has sold millions of copies worldwide. His works also include “A Guide to Confident Living,” “The Art of Living,” “The Tough-Minded Optimist” and “Inspiring Messages for Daily Living.” Besides paperback and hardcover prints, his writings are also available on audio format.
Norman Vincent Peale was born in Bowersville, Ohio in 1898. He received his education at Ohio's Wesleyan University. At the age of 34, he got an offer from Marble Collegiate Church in Manhattan to work as a researcher. Besides writing books, he delivered motivational speeches at many places. He inspired many other self-help book authors until his death in 1993.

With a circulation of over 4 million, it is the 13th largest paid-circulation magazine in the country today.
Norman Vincent Peale, in partnership with educator Kenneth Beebe founded “The Horatio Alger Association” in 1947. This organization worked for recognizing and honoring the contemporary Americans who defied diversities to achieve success and excellence.
Norman Vincent Peale has left his mark in radio also. His weekly radio program “The Art of Living” was on the air for 54 years. Over 750,000 people used to receive his sermons through the mail. A movie named “One Man’s Way” focuses on the life and works of this great man.
