At a young age, he was influenced by the work of Gregory Bateson and Milton H.Erickson-two early system thinkers. Delving deeper into the subject introduced him to Moshe Feldenkrais, Richard Bandler and John Grinder.
Today Nagy is working to bridge the gap between theory and practice as he applies theories of complexity and chaos to those involved in the fields of business and academics.
Nagy’s work lies in training people to integrate what they learn from experience at several levels. He applies the Feldenkrais method to teach people to let go of their tension and stress. Relaxing improves one’s quality of life.
More parts of yourself become involved in your day-to-day activities. The two main areas that are focused on are Functional Integaration and Awareness through Movement. The former is a deeply relaxing session, carried out on a massage type table while one is wearing lose clothes. Attention is paid to the specific change you want to bring about or the particular experience you want. It is a gentle exercise for about an hour. The latter guides you verbally through a mental sequence.
Each individual is involved in his own sequence and does not have anything to do with the others present who follow their own mental train. The lesson is not an exercise nor is it a competition. No judgment is involved in the same. A version of the session is available as a free download.
