If you want to feel robbed, embarrassed & stupid, do business with Sid Sperry and his network of organizations. He sells vending machines and has been traveling with Wright Thurston seminars.
My family bought 37 Jessica Coin Shooters. They are the worst vending machine ever invented because 100% of them will jam 100% of the time if customers don't operate them properly.
The company that distributes these machines has a lack of integrity. They overcharged us on shipping by 300%. We paid them 4 times what UPS charged to ship them to us. They want us to pay a 20% restocking fee to send them back even though they are hesitant to let us send them back at all because of the machines poor quality.
The company in the Denver area that Sid Sperry promotes, advises you to get the machines "located" in businesses so they can start bringing in money. The Denver company is run by a guy named Joseph. Their contract requires half payment up front and has a no refund policy.
Joseph didn't actually locate any machines, as Sid Sperry promised he would. Instead, Joseph sent the sorriest excuse for a salesman I've ever seen in my life. So, Joseph is in breach of contract, but the contract has a no refund clause so I'm simply out of luck.
It was interesting to hear the comments of the business owners as we were almost forcefully thrown out of their establishments. Things like, "You people are in here every day," and, "No! I don't want your stupid machine in my store," and, "I've got several vending machines in back that weren't being serviced for months. Do you want them?"
Out of the many businesses we visited, we did manage to get about 5% actually placed. The following day, all of them were jammed. There were several times when one of the employees might say, "Sure, you can put a machine here." Then, later on, the actual owner or business owner would come in with an emphatic, "NO!"
None of this affected our locator salesman when it came time to sell us these locations. In his mind, they were all good. He wouldn't get out of our house until he'd been paid. We had to kick him out. This is not an experience to be repeated.
